Dr. Cooper was born and raised in Greenwood, Mississippi, a small farming town in the Mississippi Delta. Through being raised in the Delta, he learned to treasure the many values, personal relationships, and the simple way of life that he experienced while growing up. Simply put, “there was not a better place to grow, live, and learn than Greenwood.” He implements these same values into his dental practice today.

Dr. Cooper attended Mississippi State University and remains an avid Bulldog today. He received a Bachelor’s degree at M.S.U. in Chemistry. Encouraged to follow his dreams, he graduated from the University Of Mississippi School Of Dentistry.

Moving to Dunwoody, Georgia has allowed Dr. Cooper to regain the sense of community and to establish a lasting network of friends and colleagues. Outside of his General and Cosmetic practice, Dr. Cooper spends his free time with his wife Laura and 2 children, David and Caroline. He also enjoys coaching baseball at Murphy-Chandler Park, playing golf, and swimming. Dr. Cooper is actively involved in many charities and community organizations. As we all know, he has a green thumb for gardening! And in keeping with his diverse upbringing, Dr. Cooper surrounds himself with original, recognized artwork by renowned Mississippi artists, H.C. Porter, Walter Anderson, and photographer Reese Pillow.
