Cooper Dentistry is committed to maintaining the safest and healthiest conditions for our patients and staff.
When patients arrive for their appointment we ask the following:
- If possible, do not bring additional people to your appointment
- Please wear facial covering while in waiting area and practice social distancing
- Temperatures will be taken upon arrival for all patients, as well as staff
- You will also be asked to fill out a short ADA questionnaire
Between patients, operatories are sanitized with hospital-grade cleaning products. Once patients are brought to their operatory they will be given hydrogen peroxide mouthwash (Peroxyl) pre- rinse in order to reduce salivary bacteria load before beginning treatment.
We have installed an ultraviolet germicidal light to our HVAC unit to cleanse the air within our office space. Ultraviolet germicidal light is a trusted control method used in hospitals, water treatment facilities and food and beverage industries nationwide. It is not a chemical treatment but is deadly to the micro-organisms that spread throughout a building. It does not pose a threat to people, equipment, or indoor environment.
With influenza, Coronavirus and other illnesses on the rise, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or any other flu-like symptoms.
Patients, parents or employees who are sick or displaying any signs of illness are required to stay home.
All office doors will remain open to reduce contact with as many surfaces as possible. Please do refrain from touching surfaces as much as you can to limit your exposure and surface contamination.
Out of concern for our patients and staff members, our office will follow the recommendations and guidelines outlined by the CDC for screening patients at risk for infection.
We are open and we will notify you of any changes that may occur in the future.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times.
